Young people like to emphasize their fresh, progressive nature by opposing conventions. As every living space reflects its inhabitants, the adolescents’ attitude naturally reflects in their homes. Our designer elaborated on that fact by contrasting the traditional bedroom design principles firmly rooted in symmetry and a centralized focal point.
The rule-breaking contemporary bedroom design breaks the conventions, creating a sense of dynamics while infusing a more adolescent character. By playing with symmetry, displacing the rug, and using a strong accent on the side, the designers created a vivid, visually interesting arrangement. In addition, the use of different textures and patterns enhanced the overall streamlined look, adding tactile quality, warmth, and depth.
